About Me
1. I was born on Labor Day in Washington MO over fifty years ago. My dad moved the family into the house my mom still lives in while my mom was in labor.
2. I have an older brother and sister and two younger sisters. Although none of them could be considered young now. (Sorry, J & P)
3. My dad died when I was 19. It took me five years to get over that bump in life’s road.
4. I graduated high school, attended college, and got a AA degree from a technical school in computer maintenance technology. I never worked in that field.
5. I lucked into a computer programming job, discovered it was a game that I could play well, and gravitated to the technical aspects of the field. I am now an Oracle/SAP DBA in a Fortune 500 company.
6. I’ve been married and divorced three times, but the second one doesn’t count…no kids and it only lasted six months.
7. I’m the proud mother of two grown sons and grandmother to a very beautiful girl and darling twin boys.
8. I read a lot, 200 books a year, but it’s all fiction. I love a good story.
9. I enjoy needlecrafts. I’ve made bridesmaids’ dresses for two weddings and the wedding dress for another. I’ve made a number of quilts. I cross-stitch, needlepoint, crochet, and most other similar crafts.
10. I live alone with a psycho-cat named Holly.
