The shoes (ordered from a different website when the first site had them on backorder forever) have arrived! They are not quite as Mary Janeish as I had envisioned, but enough to keep. I'll post pictures later.

I'll have to look for her. They had meetings posted with the leaders' names. Unfortunately, I don't get off work in time to make any of the week day meetings.

My favorite leader recently transferred from Creve Coeur to Chesterfield, which is one of the main reasons I haven't been to a meeting in so long. Her name is Millie, and she's very fun.

Did you think about joining a gym or are you going to keep working out on the treadmill? Reading your post I decided I should probably start counting points to. Ive noticed I have been eating to much junk. If you want to start doing the weekly emails again let me know. :)

They went electronic about a year ago, and from what I understand, the only info you need is your membership card with the bar code. (They scan the bar code at whatever meeting you attend.) I *think* you can switch locations. It would be crazy to not have everyone on the network.

Personally, I'm more successful when I'm actually attending the meetings. Sadly, I haven't been to a meeting in a few months. AND, I really like the Core Plan. (No counting points, but you pretty much have to stick with their list of high fiber/low fat foods. Let me know if you want more info on Core!)

We parked the minivan on the hill in Queeny Park, rolled down one of the side windows, and let the kids climb over us and each other from 7:30 until the eclipse was total (no complete). Magnus stared at the moon the whole time. I couldn't get any decent pictures either.

Saturn...that was the planet I couldn't think of. I, too, tried to get pictures. I could find the moon, although the more I zoomed in, the harder it was--also, it was harder to focus the more zoom I used, but I guess that's a given. The moon gave off a LOT of light, despite the eclipse, and I'm not good enough to control for that, so even though I captured it, the light of the moon eclipses the eclipse.

Some years ago, I gave up my housekeeper because she moved away. I took the duties upon myself but never came close to the quality that she had given. It has occurred to me tonight that my station in life has risen to the point that I could afford to contract those services again. I've paid off all my credit cards and my car so the only debt I owe is my mortgage. I have the income to afford the luxury of having someone else clean my house. Hurrah! But Anne is nowhere near. (I wanted to link...She has a blog...she is related to Ben after all...but I can't find it.) Anyway, if anyone has a housekeeper that they'd love to recommend, please do so. I'd rather have a recommendation than going through MerryMaids, or whatever.
I'm so excited! A clean house! Without my having to lift a finger.
